Mabinogi is an MMORPG ( Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game ) that depicts a world based on Celtic mythology with anime-inspired, hand-painted graphics. The unique sandbox world of Mabinogi allows players can simulate daily life through activities such as doing part-time jobs, making music, and creating needlework. Mabinogi launched its official service in Korea in June 2004 and by December of that year it had received multiple awards including the Prime Minister for State Affairs Award, which is the grand prize at the Republic of Korea Game Awards ceremony. The game officially launched in Japan in April 2005 and nearly 15 years later continues to evolve and grow and reach new audiences.
